Report of Outdoor Hockey Coaching Seminar

In cooperation with European Hockey Federation and Hungarian Hockey Federation Mr. Norbert Nederlof hockey coach consultant visited Budapest, Hungary 16th – 19 June 2011 to conduct an outdoor field hockey coach seminar.

12 participants attended to the seminar which covered the following topics

• Basic principals of youth hockey coaching
• Defining goals of the training
• Set focus points of training
• Basic grip
• Defending skills
• Ball possessions
• Positioning
• Match and video analysis
